Ohhhh, sie war sooo wunderschööööön!!! Wir zehren jetzt noch von den vielen tollen Begegnungen und lieben Feedbacks an unserem Eröffnungswochenende. Und ja, wir waren total überwältigt von den all den Leuten die uns wärend dem Aufbau und auch bei der Eröffnung unterstützt haben.

Ganz ohne Erwartungen sind wir mit unsrem Pferdeanhänger Richtung Messegelände Basel getuckert. Wir standen den 10 Tagen MUBA sogar eher etwas skeptisch gegenüber. Aber weit gefehtl! Gut untergebracht am Young Designers Market haben wir den wohl tollsten Stand seit der Erfindung des Ponyanhängers hervorgezaubert!! Aus 9m2 wurden plötzlich 35 und wir konnten unsren Ideen freien Lauf lassen.. Und als weiteres Highlight nicht zu vergessen die Modeshow, welche uns täglich 5 mal Action vom feinsten geboten hat. An dieser Stelle auch nochmals heeeerzlichsten Dank an die wunderbaren Models, Ihr wart 1. Klasse!!!

Einmal mehr wurden wir in Basel herzlichst willkommen geheissen. Vielen Dank für die vielen schönen Begegnungen. Auch wenn auf unsren 3x3 Meter Stand nicht gerade viel Platz zum austoben war, haben wir dafür die nähe zu Euch umso mehr genossen:)

Die Blickfang hats auf jeden Fall wiermal geschafft in der E-Halle eine tolle Atmosphere zu schaffen..

Nach verdientem Winterschlaf hat unser kleine Ponyanhänger "Wessi" nun wieder frische Marktluft in Dübendorf schnuppern dürfen.. Und es hat Lust auf mehr gemacht!

Vergangenen Samstag haben wir mit Saus und Braus in unserem neuen Atelier die Shoperöffnung gefeiert! Vielen Dank für die schönen Begegnungen und Überraschungsbesuche. Wir halten ab jetzt wieder offiziell die Stellung für euch in der Hönggerstrasse 7. Ganz nach dem Motto "klein aber fein..". Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Guimarães, die alte Hauptstadt von Portugal, kommt dieses Jahr wieder zu ihrem verdienten Ruhm! Die Stadt wurde nämlich für 2012 von der Europäischen Union zur Kulturhauptstadt gewählt.

Unser Besuch dieser wunderhübschen Stadt hat jedoch in erster Linie weniger mit dem kulturellen Erbe etwas zu tun, als vielmehr mit seiner grossen Vergangenheit als Textilmetropole Europas!

Und wieder wurden wir fündig und haben für euch eine Auswahl an Stoffen gefunden die euch in Lichtgeschwindigkeit aus dem Sibirischen Winter holen werden!

Die grosse "release Party" der Frühling/Sommer Kollektion 2012 feiern wir dann gerne mit euch zusammen vom 23-25 März an der Blickfang in Basel... Und bis dahin caponsche schön tief über die Ohren ziehen und bis zur Sommerzeit ausharren!

Zum ersten Male hat sich comepony diese Weihnachten einem breitem Publikum vorgestellt. Denn abgesehen von den üblichen Design Messen und Märkten haben wir diesmal in zwei Städten an den "klassischen" Weihnachtsmärkten ausgestellt. Einmal im Niederdorf am Hirschenplatz, wo Yvette und Vera einen nicht zu übersehenden, wunderhübschen comepony Palast aufgebaut haben und zum zweiten in Biel an der Niedaugasse, wo wir eines der typischen Holzhäuschen mit Birkenwald besetzten konnten. Und zu unserer Freude, durften wir auch in diesem kunterbunten Publikum durchwegs positives Feedback entgegennehmen! Leute bedankten sich spontan, mit unsern Ständen wieder einmal etwas frischen Wind (und Qualität) in die Christchinklimärkte gebracht zu haben. Und darum haben auch die Meisten Stücke aus unserer neuen Winterprodukte bereits neue, glückliche Besitzer gefunden:)

An dieser Stelle nochmals, vielen lieben Dank an alle, die unseren Pferdestall in dieser hektischen Zeit in irgend einer Weise unterstützt haben. Sei es mit sozial wertvollen Besuchen, Glühweihnkurrierdiensten und natürlich Shopping! Danke!

Einmal mehr haben unsere Basler Freunde von der Schubkultur einen tollen vorweihnachtlichen Designmarkt mit Herz organisiert. An der wunderhübschen Location SUD fand ein äusserst entspannter Markt mit toller Livemusik und vielen schönen Menschen statt. Besonders gefreut haben uns "die" Überraschungsgäste! Schön wart Ihr da!

The decision to accept the lastminute invitation of Blickfang was indeed a good one. comepony met a lot of fantastic people enjoyed the chats and had the possibility to present the new collection to many different people. Thanks for all the positive feedbacks and we hope to see all of you again! Here a few pictures of this beautiful and busy fair..

Mit toller Musik, verschiedensten Leckereien und vielen farbenfrohen Designern und "Flomisten" hat uns das PLAZA in Zürich wieder einmal ein tolles Marktwochenene organisiert. Wir freuen uns schon auf die Fortsetzung im Dezember und es wäre toll Euch alle da wiederzusehn:)

This monday, on the 7th of November 2011, our pony made the first steps into the wild! Yes, it became registerd as comepony GmbH in the "Schweizer Handelsregister" and therefore is now officially a grown up (little) horse with its own rights and duties!

Thanks to all of you, supporting us along the way and we hope you will come and join the pony ride for many more years...

Once upon a time, there were two little ponies gallopping through the wide, wild world.. They didn't like each other too much at the beginning, but challenging together one adventure after the other, they started to realize that they were actually a pretty good team..

So they climbed the highest mountains, jumped the biggest trees and had a lot of fun together.

Than the day came, and their hearts met in a red hammock at the southest tip of Africa. There was no other way, than falling in love.. And this love was celebrated exactly one month ago in Maloja, on the 011011 - to be continued..

The sol festival was full of sun, soul and space. An amazing setting in the middle of nowhere, first class acts and enough space to do whatever your mind brings up to you. Thats what made this festival an absolut amazing and unique event. It was a feeling of beeing part of the birth of a new festival, which has the potential of becomming the next boom. Three big dancefloors were compeeting for the audience and there were also many other activities like joga and kayaking to go for. Since this was our last festival on the tour and there were basacally no people, we decided to enjoy the party by swimming in the lake, dancing, eating and dancing. Therefore the opening hours of comepony were quite limited, sorry for that.. However, we met a lot of great people and will keep very good memories from an amazing week under the sun. To be continued, hopefully...

Already after our arrival in Lisboa two months ago, people told us that this festival is a must. So we didnt hesitate and applied straight away. And indeed, it was a good choice! Not only for selling, but also for our own pleasure this street festival was a full success. Although the organisation was a bit chaotic, and when we arrived our place was already occupied we just decided to do some „freestyle“ moving right next to the main castle.. Which of course we had to leave after the second night again but therefore we got offered an even more beautiful spot right next to the beach:)

And once again the mobile Juice Crew supplied us and the party-people with energetic and healthy drinks..

comepony found a pretty little spot just right in the forrest and next to the green temple. Where people were refering about new ways of living (Zeitgeist), voice trainings, mass-massages, yoga, home made hair-styling and many more interesting things. The dancefloor next to the river was transformed to beach life during the day. A beautiful setting in this side vallay of Oliveira do Hospital. A personal highlight for us was that the juice crew from Berlin was joining us for this Festival! After 3 days of driving they arrived friday night with a van fuuuull of fruits, making this a healthy and relaxing festival for all of us..

Another week passed, and the good memories about this special market remain. We forgot about the raaaaaining Friday and remember the many amazing concerts, dancing-circles, massage workshops and and and.. This "world of alternatives" surprised us with many very sophisticated products, helping us in every days life. Electric waves to bring our energies in order, color-therapies, outdoorkitchen working only with sunlight and many more funny/impressing gadgets..

However, our trailer had again a very nice spot and for once a (very jummy) neighbour of its kind:)

By luck we got invited to this amazing place, which reminded us a lot to tacheles in berlin. An old factory which got occupied by a crative scene, producing art, eco-food, working platforms and lots more.. Here some pictures of the first market feira na fabrica, which we liked a lot!! Hope to come back on another sunday this summer:)

When we arrived last weekend deep in the inland of Portugal, we thought that no human beeing is able to survive in that kind of conditions. Dry, hoooot and so dusty we were afraid to open our mouths while talking... We felt like chockalte cookies in the oven and during the setting up of our stand we had to make several breakes because of almost passing out... However, somehow people are living there and a good bunch of partypeople made their way to the lake, which was the only chance to survive those 24 hours of heat and dark psy music from grandfather goagil... (who defenitely is insane!!)

An experiance which you want to have only once in a lifetime... However, we still had some fun and of course met some very nice people :)

We already knew about the textile rich north of Portugal, but still, we were not prepared for this. Truly a paradise and a shopping experiance form another planet...

Mundomix was the first big event on the "comepony tour 2011" and we were completely overwhelmed by it!! First the incredible view of one of the most beautiful cities we have ever been to... than this magic market in the old ruins of the "castelo de St.Jorge"... the many creative people presenting authentic art works..  and propably most impressive the great hospitality of the portuguese people. We couldn't have imagined a warmer welcome than this. Thank you!

Here are some impressions...

After a 28 hours drive, we finally arrived in Lisboa on the 24th of May. Just in time to prepare ourselves for the amazing art and music festival mundomix, in the center of Lisboa this weekend. For the beginning we installed us on a camping site in the western part of the town. We will give you more impressions about this place and our ongoing projects soon, but right now we are working like crazy bees to get everything ready for the market! And of course we dont want to dissapoint the capital of Portugal...

1 pool, 1 ocean, 3 patient top models, 2 abitioned cameramen, 1 picky art director, 1 restless production manager and there we go!!! The soot for our spring/summer collection 2011 was a lot of fun and a lot of work.. Trilion thanks to caro, iris, vera, paule and mitja!!!

The creation of inspiring clothing is supported by inspirng places. That's why chosing the French Riviera for the production of our new sommer collection was defenitely a good decision...

While tom was painting, screwing and hammering inside the pony trailer, yvette started her art project on the outside...

A question I heard quite a few times lately... and no, I'm not lying in the sun whatching yvette sewing! Of course I'm doing real man work!!!

After long discussions about how we want to cross the boarder, we finally decided just to let it happen... Knowing it could easily take us a day and a lot of bureaucratic paperwork if they really want to know it.. however, with a slightly wet forehad we reached the boarder with our pony home just on time (11:55). And of course the italian from the custom stopped us...

Than the conversation: little italian pointing on our trailer asking "cavalli??" tomtom with perfect italian accent "no, camping!" little, veeery hungry italian "ahh.. ok" and waved us by...

In the middle of January this year WESSI, a truly beautiful Pony-trailer joined the comepony family. She is going to be comepony's new studio, a studio on tour! Therefore of course, we still have to dress her up a little, but for sure, she's gonna be an eye candy very soon...

After a hard mission of packing up the comepony atelier we finally arrived in the beautiful and idyllic place Maloja at the beginning of this year. The village is next to a big frozen lake (Silsersee) and a "stonethrow" away from famous St. Moritz. With a height of 1850 meter above sea-level, romantic winter days are guaranteed until April...

With choosing one of the most beautiful region for winter tourism, we did not only ensure to be in a good mood to prepare our promotion tour through Europe, but also found the perfect place to bring our caponsch into the big swiss ski resorts!

It all started at the end of 2009 with two ladies indulging their passion for designing and making clothes - Vera and Yvette tamed the pony and rode it to their first happy customers...
